News you can ewes; In Passing discussion, FAUX redux at Brooklyn art gallery, FADE/Metronome in MN film series
-You can hear a roundtable discussion about the feature omnibus In Passing over at the Syndromes and a Cinema podcast. They discuss Remodernism in depth, and then give their takes on each short film of which In Passing is comprised.
-FAUX, my recent GLBT feature, has been on the back burner since its sold-out Minneapolis, MN premiere a year ago, but has garnered interest from Brooklyn art gallery Leviticus Studio for a showing/installation within the new year. This has spurned me to return to it, and subsequently, I have begun to gut the film and reconstruct it from scratch.
-Speaking of Minneapolis, the good folks at Take-Up Productions have curated a series entitled MNUnearthed, which features experimental and art house MN-made films that found success internationally, but not in their native state. They have included my thesis feature FADE, which is screening January 4th of the new year. Metronome, my most recent short coming off the screenings as part of In Passing, will precede the feature, finally appearing in its home state.
